Software AG is now offering the second edition of its XML Starter Kit. The package demonstrates how easy it is to develop electronic business applications and Web services with the latest version of Tamino XML Server. Furthermore, testers can see for themselves what the advantages of the XML Internet standard are. The 2nd Edition is the follow-up to Software AG's successful XML Starter Kit from last year.

The XML Starter Kit includes Tamino XML Server 2.3 as well as a broad array of information about XML technology, with a comprehensive XML Education Library and a multilingual Web cast entitled "Demystifying XML". 

The Kit also offers animated presentations from Software AG and its partners that describe different applications of this new database technology. These examples illustrate how Tamino and XML are being used for e-procurement, mobile enterprise computing, content management, collaboration, knowledge management and business process management.

Tamino XML Server

Software AG grants you - free of charge - a non-exclusive license to use the Tamino XML Server and accompanying documentation (Software) on a single computer, on a workstation or on a single terminal within a network for evaluation and testing purposes for 90 days. However, when your ninety days testing time has expired, you can simply download another license key enabling your Tamino test to continue for a further 90 days. 

As a complement to Tamino XML Server, Software AG has also launched a "Demo Zone" and the Tamino Community. In conjunction with the Developer Community, this comprehensive website offers general information, references, news and tips.

With this expansive range of initiatives, Software AG is providing  XML Starter Kit and Tamino users a full offering around XML. Developers can learn about the latest trends, technological challenges and exciting new applications by participating in chat groups and forums.
